Craft Support Website

techcardmakeandcreate.co.uk provides instructions for TechCard model kits and they asked us to put together a simple website using the default WordPress theme Twenty Twenty and Webd Ltd’sOptions for Twenty Twenty” plugin.

The site also makes use of Elementor to allow the client to easily add content using a drag and drop interface.

COVID-19 Redesign

This popular tapas and cocktail bar in Hastings Old Town needed to quickly and cheaply deploy a new website to reflect their diversification in these crazy, un-certain times.

So they called us in and we set about creating an online shop for them using WooCommerce.

Moving from Wix to WordPress

1st Class Roadmarking asked us to re-develop their existing Wix website as a WordPress site.

Once the site was approved we helped the client retain their existing domain name and email account with email history.

Budget Website for Community Group

The Arc (Archive Resource Centre) asked us to put together a website for their new group which has the backing of three parish councils; Fairlight, Guestling and Pett.

CakePHP Migration

We were contacted to see if we could help with two interconnected, bespoke websites developed with a CakePHP backend and a WordPress frontend.

The end goal was to move the site from slow cloud hosting to a Centos virtual private server whilst upgrading PHP, CakePHP, MySQL and WordPress as far as possible, identifying and eradicating bugs and generally cleaning up the filesystem.

This project was extremely challenging due to the complicated nature of the migration but the sites are now being happily hosted on the new VPS and is much, much faster!

WordPress Hotel Website

We were approached again by the beautiful and historic Mermaid Inn to re-skin their website realising a new design that they had conceived.

The new design has full-screen content and true parallax scrolling imagery.

eBike Hire Website

Here’s a budget website we put together for a local ebike hire company. Our budget sites are built with WordPress which means clients can save money by adding their own content.

Our clients find the WordPress content management system familiar and easily make changes, edit text and upload photos on their website.

Event Management Website Redesign

It was time for a re-design for one of our good friend’s and clients, Dynamic Events.

They were already using WordPress so we were able to “re-skin” the existing site using the default WordPress theme, Twenty Seventeen as the foundation for this project. We applied design changes (most prominently the responsive header video) retrospectively using our plugin “Options for Twenty Seventeen” and other bespoke code.

The result is a website that is future-proofed through its use of a theme that will be supported for many years to come.

Development of Artist’s Gallery Shop

It was a great honour to have been asked to re-develop this website. The artist Danny Pockets sadly lost his fight with cancer earlier in the year.

His website had been developed with classic ASP and had security holes that were allowing hackers to compromise it.

We chose to use the WordPress plugin WooCommerce to replace the online shop with the default theme, Twenty Seventeen as the foundation for this project. We applied design changes (most prominently the header slider) retrospectively using our plugin “Options for Twenty Seventeen” and other bespoke code.

The result is a website that is future-proofed through its use of a theme that will be supported for many years to come.

Bed and Breakfast Website Redesign

It was time for a re-design for one of our longest standing clients, Jeake’s House.

They were already using WordPress so we were able to “re-skin” the existing site using the default WordPress theme, Twenty Seventeen as the foundation for this project. We applied design changes (most prominently the header slider) retrospectively using our plugin “Options for Twenty Seventeen” and other bespoke code.

The result is a website that is future-proofed through its use of a theme that will be supported for many years to come.

Single Page Website Development

A customer asked us to develop a one-page website to replace their existing website.

We used the default WordPress theme, Twenty Seventeen as the foundation for this project, applying required design changes retrospectively using our plugin “Options for Twenty Seventeen” and other bespoke code.

The result is a website that is future-proofed through its use of a theme that will be supported for many years to come.

Bed and Breakfast Website Development

Rosemary Cottage had had the same static website for decades and we were delighted to be instructed to bring this bed and breakfast into 2018 with a responsive WordPress website that the owner could easily update themselves.
